On the Boards
Community America Credit Union – davidson-brown has been retained by CommunityAmerica Credit Union to research and plan new prototype options for their branch facilities as well as in-line storefront locations around the KC Metro area. We are pleased to announce that, after a continually on-going design process, we have completed three in-line storefront projects and CACU is currently moving forward with the construction phase on two free-standing branch facilities. Currently, davidson-brown is in the planning phase for a third free-standing branch facility scheduled for construction in 2008.
Shane Co. – The Shane Company, a global jeweler based in Denver, Colorado, has retained davidson-brown’s services to design their new facilities throughout the United States. davidson-brown has completed locations in Overland Park, Kansas and Orlando, Florida. We are currently completing the design phase for their newest location in San Francisco, California.
City of Mission Kansas Public Works – davidson-brown was awarded the design contract by the City of Mission, Kansas for their new Public Works Facility. We have teamed with McCown Gordon Construction on a Design-Build basis for this project. Our team is currently working together with the City during the construction phase.
119th and K7 Master Plan – davidson-brown has been retained to master plan a 160 acre development for Prime Land Development Co in Olathe, KS. The plan will include 70 acres of regional commercial/retail with the remainder being residential and park space. Planning and rezoning are expected to be complete in late spring.
East Southgate – davidson-brown is currently proceeding with design on East Southgate, a continuance of Southgate Retail Center which was completed in 2002 in Oltahe, KS. Plans will include a 20 acre retail development, public street improvements and intersection improvements. TIF financing and planning approvals are expected this fall.
Smithville Commons – Work continues on Smithville Commons, a 28 acre retail development in Smithville, Missouri. Mass Grading for the project is nearing completion. Construction of the Site Infrastructure and Out-Lot refinement are scheduled as part of the next phase for this project.
Lansing Towne Centre – davidson-brown has teamed with a group of developers Master Planning a new retail center in Lansing, Kansas. The project has proceeded past the planning and TIF approval process and has begun construction. davidson-brown is responsible for all infrastructure design work and planning, as well as the retail building designs.
College Crossing – davidson-brown has been retained by Block and Company to complete the College Crossing Industrial Park build-out. Currently, four office/warehouse buildings are in the construction phase with tenant finish construction occurring at the same time. The current buildings add to the existing four building complex, doubling the size. Completion of this phase is slated for spring of 2008. New phases are currently in the Planning stages as the Developer pursues additional property.. |
